Healthier community,
stronger economy
Although a physical presence in Conneaut is
new for ACMC, the hospital already has a strong
connection to the community. Approximately
110 of the 1,100 ACMC Healthcare System
employees live in Conneaut, which adds millions
of dollars in salaries and benefits to that
community every year.
The hospital provides a variety of services in
the Conneaut community, such as free blood
pressure and glucose screenings at the Conneaut
Human Resources Center, and also sponsors and
participates in local events, such as the Chamber
of Commerce business expo and the annual
Fourth of July celebration. ACMC also provides
an athletic trainer to Conneaut School District at
no cost. Dr. Ruffa serves as the physician for the
Conneaut sports teams.
“Our goal is to continue to expand our
services to the residents of Conneaut and to
support the local economy and businesses by
keeping patients close to home,” said Habowski.
