The ACMC Nurses’ Cereal Drive collected nearly 8,000 ounces of cereal and money for milk, which was split between four county food banks. Across ACMC, 21 departments took part. ACMC was seventh among all Cleveland Clinic system hospitals for the total amount of cereal collected. Helping our communities Walking for a cure. In June, ACMC caregivers took part in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The ACMC team earned several awards at that event and raised more than $11,000 for cancer research. ASHTABULA COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER CAREGIVERS are known throughout our communities for compassionate care. That compassion extends beyond the walls of ACMC. In the past 12 months, ACMC has raised more than $45,000 and collected hundreds of items for food banks, schools and children’s services throughout Ashtabula County. Here, we highlight just a few examples. Feeding families. ACMC Caregivers packed approximately 3,250 meals to go to local food banks during Feed the Hope 2019. We packaged 35 boxes of macaroni & cheese and more than 50 boxes of oatmeal.
