Joni Sims, CNP Urology Nurse Practitioner Joni Sims, CNP, specializes in treating acute and chronic urological conditions— urinary tract infection, urologic pain, gross hematuria urinary retention, urologic injuries, prostate disorders, cystitis, incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic floor prolapse, sexual dysfunction and more. She sees patients alongside Cleveland Clinic Urologist Thomas Picklow, MD. Ms. Sims earned her certified nurse practitioner degree in 2015 from the University of Cincinnati. She earned her degree in nursing from Pennsylvania State University and Kent State University. For the past two years, she has worked at Northeast Urology Associates caring for patients in a hospital and office setting. Ms. Sims is a two-time recipient of the “Excellence in Action” award through Humility of Mary Health Partners. Simona Dobos, PA-C General Surgery Certified Physician Assistant Simona Dobos sees patients at ACMC alongside Evangelos Bibidakis, MD, and Tianli Du, MD. She specializes in pediatric surgery but also treats adults with surgical techniques such as laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, endoscopy, pleurodesis and video-assisted technology. She also specializes in gastrointestinal feed tube care, hernia repair, skin grafting and wound care, incision and drainage, circumcision, tumor and subcutaneous masses, and more. Ms. Dobos earned her physician assistant certificate from Barry University in Florida and is a 2013 graduate of The Ohio State University. She most recently worked as a physician assistant at St. Joseph Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida, after working two years at National Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She is a native speaker of English and Slovak and has a working knowledge of Spanish. Zane Zimmerman, DO Family Medicine Physician Zane Zimmerman, DO, sees patients full-time at Jefferson Family Health Center alongside Catherine Bishop, DO; Andi Tirounilacandin, MD; Ravi Chimalakonda, MD; and Peggie Reinhardt, FNP. ACMC’s family medicine providers specialize in caring for the whole person. They are often the first to recognize symptoms and risk factors of conditions like heart disease and diabetes. They develop a course of care to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes and coordinate care with a specialist, when necessary. Dr. Zimmerman is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He earned his doctor of osteopathy from Ohio University in 1993. He completed an internship and residency at Clarion Hospital in Pennsylvania. Jefferson Family Health Center (234 S.
