Ashtabula County Medical Center | ACMC Pulse | Summer 2018
ASHTABULA REGIONAL HOME HEALTH (ARHH) has provided Ashtabula County and surrounding areas with quality healthcare in the home since 1974. Recently, ARHH moved from offices south of Ashtabula to the newly renovated ACMC Health & Wellness Plaza, Suite 2, 2131 Lake Ave., in Ashtabula. “The new location will improve accessibility for families to visit our office to discuss home health care options for their loved ones,” says ARHH Executive Director Sue Shadle. “Coverage for healthcare services at home can be complicated at times and making decisions overwhelming for a family. We are available to answer questions and provide guidance.” Receiving healthcare in the comfort of one’s own home helps patients rehabilitate after hospitalization for acute illness, injury or surgery. Home health also plays a vital role in helping people to manage chronic illnesses and reduces the need for a stay in the hospital. Patients of ARHH are encouraged to be active participants in the planning of their care. ARHH Caregivers are exceptionally experienced in the specialty of home care and collaborate with each patient, their family members, and physicians to meet each patient’s individual needs.
