Dr. Shakya comes to ACMC following a residency at Cleveland Clinic Children’s, which is recognized as one of the nation’s best children’s hospitals. In addition to physicals and immunizations, Dr. Shakya treats feeding and weight gain problems, allergies and eczema, asthma and chest infections, ear infections and sore throat, skin pathologies, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, developmental delays, abdominal pain, and urinary tract issues. Theodore Eckman, MD Pain Management Theodore Eckman, MD, addresses the source of acute or chronic pain, working with patients to decrease pain and improve daily function and quality of life. Common treatment options for pain are nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, joint injections, spinal cord stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, Botox injections and more. Dr. Eckman comes to ACMC from the Center for Pain Management at Saint Vincent in Erie, where he had practiced for the past three years. He earned his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed an internship and residency in anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
