Providing an inspiring view As important as building renovations or new equipment can be to healthcare, sometimes a nonclinical project can also benefit patients. Earlier this year, the Foundation began working with a local artist to create a mural to hang on an exterior brick wall that faces patient rooms. “As the hospital has expanded over the decades, it has raised structures that block the view from some patient rooms,” said Netkowicz. “A caregiver suggested an artistic mural as a way to improve the view.
